Merchants can now override the default order date-based calculation on a per-rule basis by specifying a Custom Date Calculation.
What’s New?
  • Custom Date Per Rule
    – Each estimate rule can now have a specific custom date as the starting point for calculating delivery estimates.
  • Ideal for Pre-orders & Scheduled Releases
    – Supports scenarios where products are not immediately available for shipping.
How It Works
CleanShot 2025-02-20 at 11
  1. Create or Edit an Estimate Rule
  2. Enable "Calculate from custom date" within the rule settings.
  3. Select a specific date from which the estimated delivery will be calculated instead of the order date.
  4. Save the rule, and the estimated delivery date will now be calculated based on the chosen date.
Example Use Cases
Scenario: A high-demand item will be back in stock on March 10, 2025 and will start shipping from that date.
Rule Setup:
  • Enable “Calculate from custom date” - Custom Date: March 10, 2025
  • Minimum Delivery Days: 2
  • Maximum Delivery Days: 4
  • Supposed that there is no non-working days and blackout dates.
Result:
  • Today is Feb 20, 2025
  • EDD display: March 12 – March 14, 2025
(March 10 + Min Delivery 2 days = March 12)
(March 10 + Max Delivery 4 days = March 14)
